Success Express #1: Les Brown on DVD

I finally got to sit down and watch an hour and a half of the world famous Les Brown on DVD that was delivered in the premier copy of Success University’s Monthly Empowerment Series that was delivered to my home.

Les Brown quoted Horace Mann, ‘We should be ashamed to die until we have made some contribution to humankind.”

Wow! That hit me like a hammer on a nail…

Life is truly unpredictable, don’t you think so?  There are so many things that we do not have any control like:

- when we are born

- where we are born

- who we are born to

- when we will die

- where we will die

To me, the real challenge is none of us know how much time we have on this planet to achieve our dreams and goals, apart from what Les Brown said… that most people are not willing to fight for their dreams!

Les also said that we need to detoxify our lives if we truly want to succeed because people don’t achieve their goals as there are too many negative people in their lives. We need to stay away from those who tear us down, criticize us, tell us our limitations because studies showed that if someone tell us ‘you can’t do it’, it takes sixteen people to tell us ‘you can do it’ to neutralize the negative effect!

Thus, we need to listen to tapes on positive things again and again to continue to fight for our dreams.

For example, if you have went on a weight loss program and you stop, you would gain back all the weight and some more.

Another quote that Les mentioned which makes a lot of sense to me is this:

“In order to do something you’ve never done, you got to be someone you’ve never been!”

That was cool…

And also, Les Brown mentioned that the information and contents in Success University back office can transform our lives. For a free 14-day trial, visit this link below:

We should think more positively. After all, it requires the same effort to think negatively.
Dare to Dream! Let no one steal your dreams.

    Hi BenL,

    That’s ABSOLUTE wisdom!

Either way, we will have thoughts… so might as well have positive thoughts … cool :-)
